			<p>Yatra.com is an online travel space that was founded in 2006. In 2012, Yatra became the second largest online travel service in India, with a 30% share of the 5 billion market for online travel related transactions. Through their website, apps and other platforms, leisure and business travelers can explore, research and compare prices according to their travel needs. More than 7 million customers have used one or more of the comprehensive travel services, being the largest platform for domestic hotels across India.</p>

			<p>Yatra&#8217;s corporate division had more than 750 customers who extensively used yatra for travel needs including services like hotel, flight, train and bus booking. Initially, Yatra did not have a platform to cater these sets of corporate customers and thus, started their corporate division business on a third-party application. The third-party application had to be paid a significant amount of the booking deals as commission which further incurred revenue losses for Yatra.</p>
<p>Ezeiatech worked with Yatra to come up with their own Yatra corporate travel platform where company officials could use the platform to configure policies according to the bandwidth of employees and the firm. The goal is to provide immense flexibility and configuration. This could happen at different levels like different teams like sales and tech as well. The more is the level of feature integration the more robustness of the application.</p>

The Yatra CorpTrav application consisted of two engines – policy and configuration, that could provide the necessary policy segmentation at different levels and provide configurational requirements to certain individuals at the firm according to their needs. Finally, it became imperative to migrate the 700+ users on this platform through the following mechanism.</p>

			<p>In the hotel industry, there have been business problems and OYO has faced the same since its inception. The hoteliers need to pay a certain amount of commission to OYO for customers booking through their platform. Thus, the hoteliers smartly resort to no show scam or change the booking ID by luring the customer with a petty discount and saving the commission designated to OYO. The hoteliers maintain an offline register which could be easily modified for their own good by tweaking it.</p>
<p>Ezeiatech worked with OYO – Hotels and Homes to audit their current operating systems and provide them the technological support required for countering the revenue leakage and meet the regulatory compliance requirements. The goal is to manage the functioning of the application to create a reliable, scalable and cost-effective system for both customers, hoteliers and OYO.</p>

Thus, it became necessary to provide an application where the hoteliers would have to digitally check in the customers to keep a proper tab about their booking and payment.</p>
<p>Overall plan for validating the presence of the customers during check in at the hotel &#8211;</p>
<ul>
<li>Using government identity proof records like Aadhaar card or PAN card for validation.</li>
<li>Implementing the application at a state level according to the needs of the hotels partnered with OYO.</li>
<li>Manual register to be shared with local police stations in order to meet regulations.</li>
<li>Penalty could be charged on behalf of OYO incase hoteliers indulge in malpractice.</li>
<li>Customers are provided with security and cannot be forced to indulge in hotelier’s deeds.</li>
